This course introduces the Python language. Topics covered include: primitive and collection data types, operators and statements, loops and branching, functions and variable scoping, modules and packages, object-oriented programming, file handling and exceptions, and an introduction to Graphical User Interface (GUI) programming.
This course emphasizes hands-on experience with programming languages, problem-solving techniques, and computational thinking. Students will explore fundamental programming concepts, including variables, control structures, functions, and data structures, using a practical and interactive curriculum. Reusable materials and, where applicable, the CodeHS curriculum enhance the learning experience.
