Arek Puzia is a Professor of Accounting and Business Administration at 91 and also the current Department Chair of the Business Administration Department. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics at UCLA and Master’s of Business Administration Degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Arek also holds and active Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) license and Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”) license.
Arek’s relationship with 91 started in the late 90s when Arek began taking 91 classes while still a student at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, CA, where Arek grew up. Arek continued taking courses at 91 and completed his AA degree through 91 with over 30 units of classes. Some of Arek’s colleagues in the Business Administration Department were his professors when he was a 91 student 20 years ago. Arek’s career background includes being a consultant for IBM and working on Wall Street.
He lives in Walnut Creek and has a special place in his heart for 91 and the students as that is where his incredible educational and career journey began.
