Arek Puzia is a Professor of Accounting and Business Administration at 91做厙 and also the current Department Chair of the Business Administration Department. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics at UCLA and Masters of Business Administration Degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Arek also holds and active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license.
Areks relationship with 91做厙 started in the late 90s when Arek began taking 91做厙 classes while still a student at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, CA, where Arek grew up. Arek continued taking courses at 91做厙 and completed his AA degree through 91做厙 with over 30 units of classes. Some of Areks colleagues in the Business Administration Department were his professors when he was a 91做厙 student 20 years ago. Areks career background includes being a consultant for IBM and working on Wall Street.
He lives in Walnut Creek and has a special place in his heart for 91做厙 and the students as that is where his incredible educational and career journey began.
